What an awesome washer / wash action!
Was the clicking sound during the drain the timer?

That is the mechanical sound of the Blackstone, It is the belt lapping all the components underneath. It could be the timer mechanism but as I remember that is buried inside the Tranny and only a cup emerges outside on the top to pull all the levers and raise all the levers.

Narrow frame as I am using my iPhone.

Mechaneal Blackstone Washer

WOW always neat to see and hear these run, but I can tell you are not using this machine often enough as the belt has a serious flat spot which is making a bumping noise or it may just need a new belt. In any event it makes me want to drag out my Blackstone washers and get them running.

Love the washing Jon made my day.

I have to say I never came up opon these washers until early seventies in the Laundromat

not your year the spiral design machines they had the best suspesion systems ever.

At night I would take pictures of mike's machines the night had a different glow.

Here is a pic from the one of many shots I got from Mike's ( Dishwashercrazy ) room.

This washer is from Ben.  ( Swestoyz )

Blackstone at rest.

Jon turn your phone so it's rectangle to get a wide screen look.

I have done the same thing lol.

If Whirlpool ever made a solid tub washer...

...this would be it! Similar agitation speed, and steady cycle flow from agitation, through drain and spin, via solenoids.

I don't know if Blackstone ever offered suds saver models, but if they did, they likely would have the suds returning through the bottom with dry agitation.

No that

jetcone's profile picture
wouldn't work Gary, there is a big outer tub there under that stainless steel tub. They would have to pump it back up over the top but there is plenty of room to do that in the Blackstone.

I was surprised at how vigorous the action was!! never did a partial load in her before!

Wash Liquor

Looking good there Jon, I like the milky solution, without the sudz its a great indication of the washing process rather than rinsing...

Is it for use across all washable textiles etc or just for white / brights ??

Happy testing, Mike

p.s the test is gonna be in the "Oovah RagaMatic" twinny, it makes or breaks brands....LOl
