Bendix

That was one of the washing machines I ever had, may be even better than my Miele in some ways. Very gentle action when heating and the best delicate wash ever, only the poor spin let it down a little bit but at that time 800 was about the norm I think. Hope someone here gets it and give it some TLC. I wish I had both the space and time. I seem to be spending to much time working at the moment.

Nice bendix

I wanted that myself as I think it would have been a nice match for my moffat.

I did buy a hoover 3104 tho,(why did !)Anyways, the beast had been in a cupboard for thirty odd years. It came will fill pipe and tongs.back pipe proptly snapped when removed...normal! motor ran,but would not heat.stuck meter on heater, that was fine, thought selector switch, but no,the pump had a thermostat on the top of it which was shot, hot wired and now heats great.I have never had the back of one of these before. Now other prob, there seems to be a drip from the flywheel somewhere,so what do I do.Buy new back pipe, buy thermostat (if they still do em) or go to columbia row,buy a bag of dirt and plat it with pansies?
I paid £16 for the machine, any idea what it would sell for (not holdin my breath)
