Just purchased a nice little Maytag A50 washer and would like to get a copy of the parts schematic and/or users manual may have it.
If anyone has a copy that they could scan and email me I would be greatly thankful for it.
I am using my machine to wash out filters for my biodiesel making operation.
Years ago I had a hoover unit and it was very good at the fast spin dry and that is why it is good for bio filters.
Thanks for any help.
Steve

Hello Steve,

Welcome as a new member of Automaticwasher.org

I have a Maytag Model A50 Porta-Washer in my collection, and I also have a Parts Catalog for this washer. Unfortunately, this is my only copy of the Parts Catalog, which was Copyright 1970 (Revised 7-75). It is 68 pages in length.

Normally, I would offer to copy or scan it and send it off. HOWEVER, our webmaster, Robert (Unimatic1140) has just undergone an extensive study of copyright law. Because of Robert's statement immediately below - the copyright date being what it is, I cannot legally make a copy for you. (The Link below is to Robert's complete post on this subject.)

Printed between 1964-1977:
#1 If you find a valid copyright notice on the document (1964-1977) then it is copyrighted for 95 years from the date of the copyright. So it is illegal to copy the document in anyway. For example, something marked copyright 1971 Kelvinator, Inc. wont be safe to post until 2066.

SO, If can present me with some questions, perhaps I can help answer them. I do not believe that I have a Use and Care Guide for the A50.

Perhap someone else on the board has an extra copy of this Parts Catalog and/or Use and Care Guide that they can send to you.

Mike
