Hard to tell if it's an original Westinghouse or a White-Westinghouse but the design is pretty much the same in both. I'd certainly have a look at it, these are fun washers and this looks pretty TOL for it's day.

Ohhh that would be a nice save! If it is White-Westinghouse it would be one of their first branded machines and it appears to be the Top of the Line model or near top of the line!

This would be fun to play with Eric, although you'd have to remove the Lock 'n Spin feature which is easy to do.

Eh, it doesn't have the Weigh-to-Save option. Why bother......

JUST KIDDING! Go for it!

It may be a Montgomery Wards model as well. The Westy, White Westy, and Wards were identical. They interchanged the design with the ramp agitator and straight vane agitator and the water filter on some models. There was no defining feature of each brand. This model tends to have the ramp agitator that is blue (one of my absolute favs)!!!!

Was thinking the same thing, either a Norge clone or a Westinghouse; either way, you can't go wrong, and for 70 bucks, hop in your truck.

Ok, so it might be worth the trip. eMailed them.

Have to clear space - the DE608 is going to the scrap heap. One in, one out. :-)

That's my rule for washers and dryers Eric! It's bad enough we were on My Crazy Obsession, don't want to make it onto Hoarders next.

Nice machine.....five push button water temps, variable water level, and selectable speeds......suprised it doesn't have the Weigh-to-Save option for something closest to TOL......

Run, Forest, RUN!.....

Hey Eric, if you get tired of that machine, please think of me!

I just love the control panel of that Westinghouse!
