Hello all longtime since i post, so my friends moved into a building and in the laundry for the tenants they have the new maytag frontloaders. My first time using this style washer im used to the wascomat not these newer ones. We didnt know and used regular all detergent. Well it costs 1.50 for a wash cycle. It does a prewash, wash and 3 rinses all in 30 mins i was shocked. We used the "colors" cycle and one "whites" cycle. I cant believe we had no suds issues, we checked the sinkthey drained in ,how clean soft and smooth the clothes cake out was amazing, but i would doubt the domestic equivalent be like these i was sold. only thing i didnt like was we coulsnt see what was going on inside barely and the drain pump was so loud unbelievable.

Cool looking washers!
Any tub shots?

Hey Guys

When I was in the U.S.A in 2010 I came across these style Maytags in a campground in Orlando next to DisneyWorld called Tropical Palms.

I used them with regular Gain liquid as I had no other at the time and also found there were no suds issues. The cycle was very very quick to do what it needed to and i'm not sure it spent enough time soap washing them for my liking.

Still my clothes were only lightly soiled so they still came out fresh and clean :-)

I forgot I took photos of these and now i can take the chance to post them:

No tub shot sadly but to me it looked the same as Whirlpool Duet drums.

Regards

Matt

These are a Coin-op WP Duet

Nice to know they have a decent cycle with adequate rinsing. I have a friend who has a family that has used a KM HE3-T branded Duet for 8+years and has had no problems.
These washers should do a great job. Keep in mind the 30 min. these machines display does not include filling or draining time if they cycle at all like the Neptunes the programme will be closer to 45 min.

If these Fauxtags work like Newton Maytags, then the computer does factor in fill time. Coin-op MAT12s include about 2 minutes of fill time on the computer countdown for each fill.

Why...

...the heck do they have such wanna-be see-thru doors when they are blackened?
