Is this the ADS that goes in the older non-orbital style Maytag transmission?

one of these. The shaft looks like its been sprayed with polyurethane and cooked in an oven. Some of it's flaking off and it's bubbled around the collar where it's supposed to ride on the transmission neck. Plus there's a dried puddle inside the hole where the groove pin that holds the pinion on goes. The shaft shouldn't be coated below the collar. That's down inside the transmission. All it needs is the gear oil down there. I'm gonna have to have the stupid thing stripped and then the top above the collar will need to be powder coated. I'm so mad.
