Just bought an old house in St. Paul, mn. Theres a very old washer in the basement. I'm not sure if its an "automatic" washer cuz it does not spin, only agitate. It has a ringer, it may be powered, I cant remember. I pluged it in and it does work. There are no markings on it that I can see, besides a serial #, no brand name. By doing some reserch, It looks to be pre 1950s cuz it dont look like the pics on this site, it looks a bit older/more primative. Let me know if you guys have any anwsers, or follow up questions. I could maybe post a pic. Thanks

Hi Death, sounds like a wringer washer. Since our site is more focused on Automatic Washers you might try www.oldewash.com... which is a web site about wringer washers.
