I was wondering if anyone had the dimesions of the 'activator' from a GE V-12 Washer...   The model number is 1WA950X1W and I am trying to find the mini-basket and filter pan that go with this washer - I have been asked for the agitator height and diameter of the base by a potential part source but have no way of measuring the agitator myself.... yet.

Here's a photo of the activator - it's the good old ramp style (just like the one in the GE washer I grew up with).

All input is welcome and appreciated as always!

I thought the minibasket wasn't introduced until the V14 and V16 came out.....when the activators vanes stuck out all the way up to the top......could be wrong, but don't remember the V12 having that option.......

All the activators for this tub were basically the same size

Let's have some pictures of that Control Panel please! The mini-basket you are looking for is the first one they ever made for their automatic washers and was introduced in 1962. It remained the same until 1965 when they waved their magic wand changing the capacity of the tub from 12 lbs. (mixed heavy fabrics) to 14 lbs. (mixed heavy fabrics) just by saying it was so. BTW any mini-basket made for their standard sized machines with a spiral ramp activator will fit enough to be usable. After 1964 they put "shoulders" on the top fins of the activators to seat the mini-basket better. They'll fit but they won't be a perfect fit. The original  baskets were very small, but cute as buttons:

Ken,  thank you so much!  I knew somehow that you'd have information about this... LOL

Here's a sneak peek of the control panel....  This is not a done deal and I don't want to jinx it!

If there are still the spirits of the former engineers of Appliance Park still swirling out there,  I will gladly sacrifice the 2004 GE direct-drive as an offering to them to help this deal go through... LOL

I promise to take better pictures soon - IF all goes well, it will be after May 5th....

OK - really trying not to jinx this, but last night my 'parts guy' in Montreal dug up a GE V-14 machine with a messed-up transmission for me and will be parting it out.   The filter pan will definitely fit the V-12 (no mini-basket...yet anyway ) and the motor, clutch, controls, and timer may just come in handy...

The stars seem to be aligning nicely....
