I was surprised they were still making boltdowns at the same time as redknobs.
5 year warranty on the "transmission" eh? IINM, the "transmission" consisted of about $4 worth of belts and a sheave (back-then price). Very user serviceable, I 'overhauled' ours when I was 14. Our earlier WH (double door) did need a trans late in its life. |
