Hello all,
Thanksgiving on my mind this morning, and one of the things we all have to be thankful for is this great club.A very diverse group we are,and a more caring, giving, sharing bunch of wonderful people I have never seen.Although I dont post much, checking this site daily is one of the highlights of my day,and a welcome break from the pressures of life.I have never met any of you in person but feel I know each of you! This probably does not belong here so dont yell at me,I just wanted to thank each of you and remind everyone how lucky we are to have to be a part of this.
Tom

Tom, yes it does belong here--it's a classic, beautiful sentiment. And it is nice to be reminded, but I doubt many here take any of us for granted. Bob

Tom, I couldn't agree with you more. We are all truly blessed to have this club and site. I think that it is always good to be reminded of it from time to time. I know that this Thanksgiving it is one of the many blessings in my life that I will be counting. Terry

Happy Thanksgiving to all of auto wash.org.

I have not posted in a while but wanted to say hello, and Happy Thanksgiving to all. Katrina did not leave us with the flooding some other members (Todd) experienced. Our house did take a good beating siding, shingles and downed fences. Thankfully both our families are safe and unharmed. The recovery of our city looks as though it will take years. My heart is saddened by the loss of life, and personal suffering of so many. It is for us, a Thanksgiving to count our Many Blessings. So I wish you all the very best Thanksgiving Holiday with family and friends. I have kept up with your posts and they provided many pleasant moments of diversion. I was so sorry to miss the convention in Omaha, I used so much vacation time in 2004 during my Dads battle with cancer, but I sure hope to meet you folks next time. Happy Holidays alr2903.

you know....I have never met any of you, but over the past 2 years or so that I have been a member I have been collecting and resoring Frigidaires, Maytags, Kelvinators, Philcos vicariously through you all. Like Mulls, from Tennessee stated so elequently, every day I take the time to read the posts and look at the pictures of the fruits of your labors. The care and nurturing that you all give to not only the metal and gears that make up these mechanical masterpieces, but with each other with the sharing of ideas, parts and just down to earth good-will and deep friendship makes me proud to be a part of this community. I await the day I can meet you all at a convention, but until then please accept my sincere appreciation for allowing me into your basements to look at your work. I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving. You guys are the best!

With Love

Dave
