Hi Guys,

I'm sure most of you will remember to picture I posted of a sad little Asko 1302 full of limescale, missing the coarse filter and had cockroaches in there (Weird!)

Well, a friend of mine also has one just like this EXCEPT. It has been use WITH a water softener, still has coarse filters and best of all NO ROACHES!
Not knowing it's ability to operate, I wound the old timer dial round to "5" for the 12 minute plate warming, set the temperature knob to "ON" and away that little timer went, clunking and clattering. The heating element works (YAY!), but the light which the manual shows as the "WARNING LIGHT" came on (hmmm). Didn't test it in any other modes, because we didn't need water pouring from every nook 'n' cranny - if you get the idea :)

When running it, I noticed that by manually advancing the timer, or starting it mid-way thru the dry cycle, it rapid advances to the end of the drying cycle(or where Rinse-Hold starts) and starts clunking in the timer more.

I didn't get photos, but the lower rack has squeaky rollers, the upper rack has a tinsy bit of rust in the frame. There are some minor spots on the door, and in the tub, but otherwise, she's a goer!
But NOTE: The little rubber gasket that sits in the detergent cup falls off all the time (or when it flings over during my seat-of-the-pants testing), so what would be useful to fix that?

Anyway, here comes my question. How much should I pay and should I even bother trying to get it? Probably be a little hard, since "we already have a dishwasher" and "don't need any junk lying around." (Thats parents for you - being a teen ain't easy sometimes). This machine won't replace the dish-drawer, but certainly could if it ever was to end up on the junk heap :)

Opinions? Feel free to discuss below :D
P.S. I'm so excited about this that my hands are shaking to pieces from just writing this thread!!!!
