Hi everyone, I have a 1982 Hoover Electron 1100 for sale it is in full working order and I have used it for the last couple of years as my daily machine. I have renewed a hot water valve and fully reconditioned the motor 2 years ago, (new bearings , brushes ect). I also have some NOS spares to go with her, I have a New old stock armature for the motor in its box, a bearing kit and a suspension kit. These parts are not needed on the machine as of yet but are handy to keep in. Machine is in very good cosmetic condition. I am asking £40 for machine and spares I paid £20 for armature on its own! so someone will get a good deal! I can be contacted on (01482) 325462 Machine is located in Hull East Yorkshire .

Seamus is correct they are identical in performance they have the same programmers everything.
I have one of these and i joked to Mat (cardiff) that we should perhaps show you a picture of it as the control panel is black :-)
It is one of my favourite Hoover machines.
Here is a picture of the matching set

So if you are in a position to get it i would, even if only to match your new kitchen and it is a bargain

Hi Dom.

Believe me - if I had the room, then I would take it off your hands for sure. Unfortunately I have got an Indesit L5EGB taking up valuable room! lol :-)

Just kidding of course. Still havent been able to do anything with the L5, though it has been protectively wrapped and I managed to get one half of the dislodged lower suspension back inside one of the friction grips.

Maybe 2012 will be an L5 year? I just dont know.

Really really hope that you are able to send the A3190 to a good home.
What has replaced it?
Did you manage to sort that 95490 and is that your 17460 to the right of the elctron?

Paul

I might be interested in this to match my new black kitchen!!! The thing is though my A3110 has the new style drum etc.

But for £40 its a bargain :)

Question for you guys... would a hotpoint drain pump fit my A3110? ITs an old hotpoint with no filter in it so evertything passes through the pump.

Not Sure

The early ones might i fit I remember looking at the pump on an early hotpoint i had and thinking it was the same as the one used in Hoover machines. You can still get them on ebay they have a red cooling fan on them

Whats up with your pump?

Gary

Hi Matchboxpaul. Yup thats the 17460 to the right of the Hoover. I have mainly sorted out the 95490 but I still need the front side finishers ( the brown clip on trim). I plan on stripping it totally and giving everything a damned good overhaul. Hope you are well , Maybe you will get round to doing something with the Indesit L5gb ...a rare machine indeed! are you still on the lookout for a liberator washer for me? ..chance would be a fine thing ! lol!
