I presume you've been checking the appliance and "free" sections on craigslist.  That's your best resource for something local.  Otherwise, among the membership here should be quite a few dishwashers to choose from of that vintage and in range of decorator colors that could be shipped if their owners are willing.

If you find something on craigslist, post a picture of it here or provide a model number for advice on its vintage if necessary.

dishwashers for sale on e bay right now, all by the same seller, and you could pick up a 17, 18, or 19 series which would put you in the late 70's. a (17) would take you thru 76, an (18) thru 79 and a (19) thru 81.

they are all overpriced, i believe 280 bucks is what they want. but they are out there! i think the seller is called "pfsales". i have bought parts from them before. but 280 is way out there in my opinion. guess it boils down to how bad you want one and i def don't need any more anyway, but i just saw them again last week.
