I'm not a real Maytag fan. Since we had the same Maytag from 1971 till after I moved out. I think they are normal, non exciting. But....I would love a set of Maytag pushbuttons, or their Electronic Control from the 80's.

I think these were sold a while ago as I have already talked to their new owner in the Minneapolis area, there can't be that many pairs of these that are missing that same button LOL.

I'm with John.  The date on the CL  ad is 4/6.  We've seen this set and they supposedly were sold to "some guy" in MN, and it wasn't Robert.

Maybe "some guy" didn't come through and that's why the ad is still up.

The some guy in Minnesota has these machines, LOL,   and in fact I found the button at the shop today that he needs and am going to send it to him.

These

Are truly modern. Loved them, the neighbors had these. Tub light, drum light. We will never see stuff like this again. I think they were tan, is that possible? Not copper tone, but tan.

John, did they look like this?  I don't know what the color is called.  The pictured machine belongs to Andy (redcarpetdrew) IIRC.

That is a CA302. I believe the color was called Cordoba Copper. That washer came out so clean!

How many years did Maytag produce the all push button model? and were there different variations through the years?

Pushbutton

I think the washer was produced from 1959-1970. Starting out as the 160, then becoming the A900 then onto the A906. The dryer (DE/DG750) came later, maybe 61/6 but not as sure on that. As mentioned, when the push-button washer came out there was no push-button match to it, so you had a TOL push-button was and a dryer with a dial.
