Thanks to Gordon the Kenmore God... I've reconnected with one of the holy grail machines of my youth: 63 Kenmore series 70 W & D in Coppertone. (Don't want the collection, just want to see them again... kind of like a visual treasure hunt)... The second machine on my list is Western Auto Wizard Imperial Citation (or Citation Imperial)...sounds like a car crash to me, I dunno. I'm assuming the machine is from the late 60's-early 70's...we borrowed it from someone for about 2 years, between the series 70 and the GE filterflow we eventually had. I remember the dashboard (scuse me) "Control Panel" looked like someone got very creative with a scriptwriter and spirograph... Anyone have one in their collection? Pictures and vids?
PS: Vintage electrolux canister in working condition at local Thriftstore for $10... I dunno the models, but it was kind of metallic tan with brown script, and looked like a lot of bells and whistles. If I had to guess, late 60's. As I was on my bike, and have the Regina electric broom, I didn't pick it up... but if someone want me to, shoot me a line. I'm not adding to my collection. I have "Hoarding tendencies" so I know "when to put the bottle down". Cheers.
