Check....
1, The water inlet valves are not blocked from all the central heating work
2, That the washing machine isolation valves are not still turned off by the plumber and have not been turned back on, 3, That there are no bigger isolation valves or zones (downstairs, Kitchen , utility) turned off still... Then Check the washer stuff!! Good luck | ||

What i would do first is to try it on a boil wash programme that i think only uses the hot water solenoid valve & if that works & fills up & starts washing then i would put it on a rinse programme to see if the cold water solenoid is working. I think it could be the cold but possibly the hot solenoid valve.

The meter should be set to K ohms (thousands of ohms) as the water valve coils have high resistances and would appear open circuit if the wrong range was selected. If you then have no reading the valve coil is open circuit and this means it has failed. Tom. | ||

I also have this model. Excellent machine. Mine too was a hand-me-down, (9 years ago) and has given me no trouble. I hope you have managed to sort yours. Doug | ||
