Its rusty at that-for your $400 you get a nice amount of rust!Guess that one was in the barn?"Guess we can get $400 for Grandpas ol' wringer washer in the barn?"But does it work??And no shots of the inside of the drum.

Love that green enamel tub. I'm going to have the gal take a few more pictures, I'm curious to see what the agitator looks like. Haven't been able to tell what brand it is. I'll find out sure enough haha

Many people are desperate for money. They figure collectors must have more money than they do because they don't have anything except some old crap they found so they are gonna try to soak the rich collectors instead of paying someone to haul away the junk. One thing collectors have beside maybe a bit of money is knowledge and discernment so these people will be able to enjoy their treasure for quite a while.

I think the best part on this washer would be the enameled tub being that she said there wasn't any chips. She also mentioned that the wringer rolls were in good shape. I told her that agitator will need to be replaced and that could be difficult. Haha, to that she said; "Oh, it's just got a little lime build up on it, it will clean up with a little Lime-a-way".

Well if she wants to really sell it then she should clean the tub and the agitator and I betcha that from the looks that it is coroded pretty badly.

I know, that agitator will have to be replaced. It may take a while to locate one.

$400 for THAT MESS-no wonder why the seller didn't have any tub shots.Who in their right mind would pay $400 for THAT????In the condition shown-the machine isn't worth ANYTHING!

Nice Triumph!

And the seller has no clue about vintage.  I'll bet you can get that one for less than asking price.

rp2813-

I want to go see it in person. I don't know how I feel about that agitator design however...

Weird agitator in the second machine-its in better condition-I guess with that "upside down" agitator-you load the clothes-put in the agitator-fill the machine and away you go?Looks like the blades or vanes on the agitator are upside down.Maybe someone here can clarify as to how it works. That washer would be worth more than the first one.and the price is lower. You could probably "tune" them even lower.

That first corroded washer might make a good PLANTER for the garden!
