That's because, Whirlpool makes and markets Inglis for Canada. The "Royal" looks like a Whirlpool Imperial set made here in the states. --Charles-- |

Back in the seventies, Inglis was the equivalent of Whirlpool here in Canada. The Inglis Royal models had the same features as Whirlpool Imperials in the States.
Later, Whirlpool began selling it's US appliance lines here too and Inglis became a cheaper brand between Whirlpool and Roper. Kitchen Aid was above Whirlpool. |
