ian_p61: PLEASE, PLEASE buy this dishwasher! This dishwasher was built in the latter 1930's. I have an Electric Sink version, which is Model Number: KE15. (See link below) Unfortunately, what you believe to be a missing pump, in reality is the missing motor. This would have been a gravity drain dishwasher, so there was no pump. Also, unfortunately, the impeller and the inlet water tube (which mounts immediately over top of the impeller), is also missing. Probably, the front panel has been discarded long ago too. BUT, the racks are in tact, as well as the electronics connected to the red wires in front. It MIGHT be possible to adapt another GE Motor and Impeller to the bottom of the machine, however, the drain mechanism was an integral part of the motor/impeller assembly. So likely finding another machine to serve as a donor, is going to be next to impossible to find. My KE15 is missing the upper rack. If you were to purchase this dishwasher, I would love to have the racks, and as many of the parts that would be possible to salvage. I would love to have the lid and the complete set of hinges too. And I would pay to have it all shipped to the U.S. So if you decide to buy, and if you decide not to keep the unit, please contact me. Mike CLICK HERE TO GO TO dishwashercrazy's LINK |
