I am finally getting a new dishwasher and getting rid of my old (1983) kitchenaid by hobart. It still works, though not a well as it use to. I live in the Phila area if anyone wants to make an offer.

Gerry, why doin't you want to see if the machine can be brought back to top performance?

You'll hate your new machine. 2.5 hours with a cup of water.

Unless it's a Miele. Oooops.

Here's what the owner has to say:

Gerry had emailed me about this unit and here is the response I received. Looks like someone up in that area will have to make a mercy run before it goes to the crusher.

Sounds like it is a KDS-20!

"On the front, it says Energy Saver V Kitchenaid Superba by Hobart. It has cream color formica panels and the controls area is a burled wood. I already bought a new Superba EQ series, its not here yet. I'm sure it won't be as good, but we are elderly and my husband is not handy. Also, it matches my kitchen better than the new one (stainless steel) but its a done deal. So if you know anyone here in Phila who would be interested, you can direct them to me. Thanks."

You'll love your KitchenAid EQ. See my earlier post in the deluxe forum. It is an excellent machine.
