New Washer

Hello...I am deaf and good friend & from USA. Is that right about new washer "Ariston Aqualtis" at United Kingdom?

Is that washer reverse action (direction: 2)?

Darren - woo! That looks cool - I guess it's just the same as the Extendia but with more digital space-age controls?

Was just thinking to myself... where in hell are you going to put the Extendia? Lol... you working on the appliance garage?

Peter,

As all European frontloaders have since the 50s, it does reverse tumble...

Hi everyone and nice to meet all new members!
The machine in Darren's link is different from the extendia, because it is a standard 60cmx60cm and it's 7.5 kg. The drawer at the bottom of the machine is a separate unit. Extendia is a bigger machine and stands on a structure that is part of the machine itself (i guess the capacity is 8.5 or 9 kg, i don't remember!).
Here in Italy the machine has been available since the end of last summer and it's very nice even if that's not in my style. The door is similar to the big Bosch model, also the "feeling" when opening it was similar.
If you were wondering were the soap drawer is, it's behind the door on the left side of the front panel! The extendia has the soap dispenser inside the drum (i haven't yet understood how does it works!!)

hi all!

jon: im thinkin of puttin the extendia in the garage & doin a "how'd that get there!?" when im asked lol. its such a nice machine tho!

Dan! hey ur extremely lucky having the aqualtis's on the market already i cant wait to get them here. as far as the detergent dispenser works, it flips it over i think from playing around with it at work all this week lol. its beautiful. only thing i couldnt see any way of additional rinsing which is a big thing to me.

anyone heard any good or bad reviews on these? i can see it being costly in a repair having the control panel in the door! i may take our extended warranty with it, if im choosing to keep it for a long period of time.

Darren
