I stopped by an old Maytag repairman's shop today looking for parts for my machines. For the most part the visit was a bust, though I did pick up a new old stock sprinkler for my Dg701. Anyways, the shop owner went on and on about all the old parts he had that I could have used, except he figured nobody would ever need them so he threw them out about ten years ago. He still had a fair amount of vintage treasures laying about though, and pointed me to a loft with a half dozen boxes containing new old stock cabinets and top panels for the old AMP washers. If I understood him correctly, he also has a stash of mechanical parts for them. I think the only reason they're still around is that they're hard to get to up in the loft. If any of you are interested I can stop by again and try to get pictures or at the very least, more info on what other AMP parts he actually has.

AMP Parts

Are any of the cabinets for the '57 AMP's (First ones with the center dial) ???
Also if they have any parts for a '57 AMP - I have one that needs to be rebuilt. I think these machines are very classic. I appreciate you asking him about these parts for me. Thanks !!!!
Bob
