My mothers Miele HoneycombCare W 3725 Washing Machine has started displaying the Error code F53 what should I do!! What does it mean!! The machine is properly only 6 years old!!!!!!!!! All help will be a god send! | ||

unplug the washer then plug it back in and set Sanitize cycle. As soon as it begins,cancel the cycle. Then try any cycle again and see what happens. These washers have a severely sensitive balance system.If the load is at all off balance,it should at least attempt to get revving up. If it does f53 again, check to make sure it is firmly balanced/leveled onto the floor firmly.Try again and if it fails,email Miele cust.svce.

F53 errors seem rather common on Miele W3725 washers; it could be anything from just the motor brushes needed replacement to entire tachnogenerator.
If handy DIY you can perhaps do the testing and repair job yourself with parts ordered from Miele.
