This set is on Craigslist in the Seattle area for $150.00 each. The price is a little on the high side, but these sets don't turn up all that often. Plus, the dryer is a DE750W. Hopefully someone here will move on them quickly.

Push-Button MT Pair

I would go after the DE750W water dryer if I hadn't just finished restoring the CDE750 HOH dryer and the fact they are on the other side of the country, LOL. This Water Condensing dryer is based on MTs earlier 1950s dryer designs and it has a much bigger drum that the HOH dryers. We have a restored 1956 MTWD that Tom found at an estate sale many years ago and it works very well, it is certainly th best performing condenser dryer I have ever used.

This DE750W was the very last use of this dryer platform for MT as the Water Dryers disappeared when the 06 series came out around 1966. The matching MT washer in the ad has had the program switch replaced somewhere along the line and the newer white button switch from the A906 was used, I have seen DE750s that this happened to also.

If John has his facts straight, and he usually does, then this set really needs to be rescued. I know there are members of this board in the Pacific Northwest within easy driving range of Seattle that would love to have them. I just hope one of them sees this listing in time to claim them.

This is the first DE750W to show up in the last several years - if ever. Very cool.
