Just wondering if there were any maching dryer units to this
twin tub model?
Also, I remember seeing a twin tub over at a local White Front
Department Store when I was younger, that had to actuators in
the wash tub,,,,One on the side and one on the bottom. This was
also a Hoovermatic Twin Tub. Rather interesting. Too bad, these portable
washers didn't get the embracing they really rightfully deserve.
The model I have fits beautifully in the bathroom where I can wash
out towels and some of the rugs. Very handy for quick washes of clothing
needed for just the moment. Easy to service too.....Once the parts are
easily located -_^

Hoovermatics are fun machines but to call them "automatic" is stretching things abit! *LOL*

Once compact top loaders began to hit the market Hoover's portables days were were numbered. As the use of wringer washers grew to be a memory for many the idea of reusing wash water was just not seen as sanitary. Plus the new compact automatics like their larger cousins did washed, rinsed, and spun dry without manual assistance.

Yes, the matching dryer to the 0519 was the 0910.

That'll be the next item to go after. It would be nice to
have a matched set washer and dryer.....Someday!
