the hotpoint 9534 has started making alot of odd noises lately, at the start of any wash cycle for a few minutes i can hear squeaking from the machine when turning, also on spins there is a tapping sound but its not because of an unbalance, the shock absorbers are ok too, bearings seem in good shape also, and another thing, the pump sounds like its got something caught in it, but ive checked the sump and that was clear so im really not sure whats going on, anyone got any ideas?

Squeaking noise

Sounds like the belt needs tightening to me, you simply undo the bolt on the motor and increase the tension in the belt by pulling the motor up until is as tight as it will go. If this doesn't work then the belt may need replacing.

As for the pump, I'm not entirely certain, but I doubt it's anything major.
