Hi Everybody!
I hope everyone is having a great summer...My mother called me yesterday and told me that her 2007 WP Cabrio set quit working all together..I loaded up the 1987 WP set and brought it to her....after some cleaning I hooked the set up and they started up right away...any ideas about what I can do with the Cabrio set? Maybe call the junkjard?

Toto too?

The dryer too? That is unusual. Was there an electrical storm that could have affected the electronics?

Nice looking pair of 'pools.

I still have the same whirlpool dryer you have. This is when whirlpool made great stuff. Happy washing!

Sadly....both the Cabrio washer and dryer stopped working at the same time...The Whirlpool set is a blessing! The repair tech said it was the boards that needed to be replaced.....he said not to waste our money...

Could the argument be made that lightning got them? If both went out at once, it would seem more than a coincidence. Then the homeowner's policy could cover the repair. I like mechanical timers, clocks & oven controls.

Nice set. Your mother is lucky you had them, and were able to hook them up.

cont-d

My mother on the other hand would not have been as lucky if I had to do it. Luckily my father still has some mechanical inclination. Hopefully your mother decides to keep the Whirlpools; they look good in that spot.
