Hey guy's Brenda will be coming later.
I had to tell you this one.
This one was burning in me for awhile so I cant hold on to it anymore lol.
I got here at this laundromat in Peoria last year
around the corner from Mike's ( Dishwashercrazy ) neighborhood.

When I got there they had two 45 or 55 pound front loaders.
From Maytag ...
But they are from another company.
To my surprise I did not expect them too be or do...
Guess...
This story is bitter & sweet.
More to come.

I'm just saying in a regular laundromat normally you might see this machine ...
But the shocker was what do you think this machine did..?
Maybe in on premise laundry units.
It's not typical.. maybe in europe thou.

Well, this is, indeed, a mystery! Are UK/European Maytags made by Asko? Are these made by Asko? Do they heat the water and have a 2-hour cycle?

These look like the incarceration models with all of the bars. Are these maybe commercial combos?

Eugene & Tom, Members...
I thought they where hard mounted, but they are soft mounted.
Giving a very high spin speed, I beleave at 1100 rpm's.
There made by Continental.
I've seen them in on premise laundry systems.
And in laundromats Ive seen them in the Aurara Series
which are soft mounts at a spin speed of 1000 rpm's.
But you usally dont see them in a higher pound pocket.
The managers are cheap and buy the hard mount ones.
It was surprising when they went into spin.

Well could you imagene on vacation the one who suppose to support
you just picked up and walked out of your life.
With not really a good explination.
I felt like a out of body experiance at the time.
I mean what the F@#K lol.
This nasty phone call was unwarrented.
At this point I was about over it but the pain
lasted for SOME time.
So I went to Mcdonalds around the corner from Mike's
And went to the laundromat where I and this women
named Brenda For healing.
And said I'm better then that and deserved a good day.
So I put my energy's into her that hour and a half.
My friend had a gastric bypass surgery .
Which he was 340 to 178 pounds and getting to know his body.
From his new discovery he was very attractive and I got caught
in the new discovery so he was not really ready
for a relationship.
But I wish him well... and saw him for the last time at my best friends
funeral.

Now............
This laudromat has soft water in the window that states that.
Forgot to take that picture and the front.
They had a hodge podge of machines.
Whirlpool DD.
Wascomats Emerald Series front loaders.
Continental fronts only two.
Huebsch Dryers.
Seeing if I could enlighten someones else's day
I did with this women she had no idea about the washers.
I helped her sort and use the right machines and bought her softner.
For her clothes.
She was sent from in spirit from a higher sorce.
And a lot of fun.
Love that in life you think it's the end of the world.
And if you seek something beside yourself it seems to work out.

Whirlpool DD.
Dont see this often a two speed model.
And water level ?

I like the Emerald series.
You can get two prewashes and a long wash and a extended spin for 50 cents extra.

This is the most flexible series ever on a Wasco for me.
In the coin op world.

At max speed.
It is unusal to see a large basket in coin ops move so fast.
That are regular citizens who are not in the professional side.

Well my Uncle use to call mom Betty Boo .
Brenda safed me that day and I saved here it seems with the laundry.
She said she will never look at washers the same way ever.
That felt good and she talked to me and made my day.
Out of something so Dark and negative.
But you live and learn always.
I am confident if you get a laundromat if people take time
and make it interesting that people will wash better.
That is something I would love to do.
Thanks Brenda.

I see what you mean.
Brenda gave you good advise because she took the time to listen!
I never knew a laundromat would have soft mounted MayTags, that's a first!

Those Maytags are made by Primus in Belgium... They are only available in the States in 25# and 35# sizes... They are softmount and very expensive for a 'mat owner to purchase...

Thanks Peter for the information.
And I stand corrected.
They do have a Continental look to them, and thought they where
with the cross stainless bars going across.

Just shows you cant judge a book by the cover lol.
Usally I fact before posting this one came out fast.

Larry she was the best that day could not have been better.
And yes it is not that you see or use these machines in a average
laundromat.

As Peter stated they are costly.
But I think that you will be saving in the long run.
Now for durability is another question on soft mounts.
I no hard mounts have more durability thats what owners have said to me.
Any one on that ...?
Peter..

I have seen the new Electrolux hard mounts which goes a little faster
I beleave 700 something rpm's.
The new Wascomats with this name.
And ...
Laundrolux I beleave.

Darren,

Thanks for documenting my little neighborhood and telling the story about Brenda.

I go to that McDonalds on a regular weekly basis, which is just two blocks from my house.

Mike

300g machines have been creeping into the market, but not enough for a price war to start and get more of these machines into the stores... Continental and Maytag 300g machines are at the lower price range while the others are quite high... And with the cheapening of the Wascomat/Electrolux construction, I'm getting dubious about them...

Many owners are afraid that they will loose revenue from dryer sales if the washers are extracting too much water... So they are not going to by a more expensive washer AND loose revenue on the back end...
