Hi all.
Had another member ask me question, that I couldn't answer.
Question...when did Maytag start offering pumps on their wringer machines?

I could only assume that it may have been after WWII?? don't think I've ever seen a grey ghost ( model 30 ) or one of that time period, with a manufactures pump??

Someone here knows for sure!

Yes Virginia

A "Gyrofoam / Grey Ghost" washing machine with attached pump was available "before the "War". This was a watershed phrase used in Elders homes in my childhood. Any other "Boomers" relate?

I have seen this washer available for sale on E-Bay over the years. Might be offered after the Model 30. One of our well educated Maytager's will know the details and provide the answer. One had an original Maytag Multi Motor.

All of us conventional kids have enquiring minds, and would like to know!
