Hey Steve, are you going to pick this one up??   Looks like a little less "deluxe" version of the one our Webmaster Robert has in his basement.   Roberts is a '56 I believe and has a red agitator.

 

Here's a pic of Robert starting the first load in the Hotpoint at the May 2010 Wash-In.

Hi Steve...

I think its a 54 or 55, The super deluxe models had two cycles and lighted pushbuttons, I believe this is a Beam ??? design, fluid drive spin, I knew a man in my hometown that used a 54 for over 30 years!!

This model appears to be before 1955. The 1955 had a console light and the adjator was upgraded with red fins at the bottom. I have specs on the 1955.
