This has been pointed out a few days ago.  Someone speculated it's produced by D&M.

Hi Rob,

I just paid for the Hotpoint Portable, and I am arranging shipment from Michigan back to Illinois. I was able to get it shipped for about the same amount of money that I would have spent on gas and food, PLUS, I don't have to drive for 16 hours. Therefore, I do not have any pictures beyond those that were posted on Craigslist.

Ah, the GE Dishwasher Sink that you are referring to (see link) – I had forgotten all about it. It it located in Delanco (Riverside) New Jersey, and I simply did not have any plans to travel in that direction, so I had basically given up on it. I still had the contact number in my phone, along with the message history with additional pictures. So this evening I sent the guy a message asking what had become of the GE Sink/Dishwasher. To my amazement, he still has it. Well, in light of this economical shipping company that I am starting to use, I decided to offer the guy $100, and he accepted my offer. So this is another Electric Sink that I will be adding to the GE Electric Sink/Dishwasher collection. This machine was manufactured in May 1952, and I already have one exactly the same model, but this one is so hard to pass up because the Dishwasher has never been used, with some of the packing material still in place around the silverware basket.

So thank you for jogging my memory about this machine. I will not expect to have it here at my house until mid to late September.

Mike

ps: Is it really a light green, or is it a camera issue that makes it look green? I will not know for a while.

Hi Mike, Thanks for the up date. I belive this will make two unused GE DW sinks for your collection. I wish you could find a 1938? Hotpoint, front opening, one rack DW that has a light that comes on when you open the door. and a 1939? Westinghouse front opening DW, that I think was made by Conover?

Rob,

We never know what will turn up. Four years ago, when I joined automaticwasher.org, and started searching for vintage dishwashers, I never dreamed that so many Electric Sinks would turn up. This latest GE becomes the 21st whole machine Electric Sink in my collection (in addition, 3 other Electric Sinks that have been reduced to parts).

Being a detail freak, I need to correct the above statement.

Electric Sink #21 just arrived from the Buffalo, New York area this past Saturday. It is a 1955 Hotpoint Electric Sink Model: 50MC20.

Electric Sink #22 has arrived at the Home Delivery location here in the Peoria area (it came from Pasadena, CA), and is a 1950? Homart (Sears Kenmore) unit. I don't really have many details about it. It is scheduled to be delivered this coming Saturday Aug 18.

The Hotpoint portable mentioned in the thread, will be the next to arrive.

Electric Sink #23 has been paid for, and the shipping details are being finalized. This is a 1950? Youngstown Electric Sink with Window lid, and is coming from Greenville, NC.

Electric Sink #24 will be the 1952 GE mentioned above. Having just agreed to buy it last night, I still need to pay for it, and arrange for shipping. I estimate that it will arrive by the end of September.

Mike
