Yet another one shows up on E-Bay. This time a beautiful CPW-80. (C-44 with 36 inch power prewash). This massive powerhouse was made for large volume commercial/institutional dishwashing. If you need to wash and sanitize massive amounts of dishes quickly with pristine results this DW is your machine.

That's some serious stuff right there. I remember using the Hobarts when I worked in college, quite the machine!

There is a commercial dish machine not too far from us that I certainly want to make a video of (gotta get permission first), I think it is Hobart, but I cannot for the life of me find any brand name on it.

CPW-80

I had one of those back in 1978.

Good Lord could that machine crank out dishes. The one I used had the Upper Revolving Wash before they changed it to Stationary Arms.

C-64... I don't know why but I missed this one or can't remember it. Wash, Power Rinse, Final Rinse ? Or is it a Prewasher ? I don't see the Scrap Basket Access Compartment on the Front of the machine.

Eddie the C-64

Was a dual tank dishwasher with no power prewash. You are correct that it was Power Wash, Power Rinse, Final Rinse. The prewash versions would be the CRS-88 with a 24" prewash and the CPW-102 with 36 inch power prewash.

very very hot in the Summer

Its nice how the really big ones have exhaust venting,  at both ends of the machine,  my experiences with the pictured single tank model was Very HOT,  in the 1970's  there was a square ventilator above the machines, I remember.  Trivia,  the splash curtains on the ends were made of canvas until the health dept outlawed them or plastics evolved into something that could survive the heat and chemicals.  alr

You're Correct. I forgot about those.

I do remember the canvas curtains. They did get a little schkeevy.
