Me too!!!!!

Since I cannot find a beloved Hoover Twin tub!!
From what I have read the agitator stops and than goes in the other direction. Sort of like a pulsator.
Does anyone have one or reliable info?? Does it have a way to add water to the spin tub?
The whole machine looks cool but not sure of the cabinet material plastic or metal??
Anyone???

I have a Danby twin-tub. The lids are thin plastic, but the body is sheet metal.
It has a mechanical timer that pulses the agitator in each direction. Return stroke is longer than the first, so it tends to whip the clothing around after awhile. The spinner works well and drains into the washer when you hook the hose into the washer tub. It has a lint filter in the center of the agitator, but mine came without one. I would like to sell it. Let me know if any interest.

Do they have a stronger action than the daewoo impeller/washplate machines?
