If the load was REALLY out of balance during the spin/spray rinse, that will give false suds lock symptoms.
The reason is that centrifugal force of the gyrating tub will hold and slosh water around between the inner and outer tub instead of the water dropping straight down and out of the tub, like a well balanced spin. The accumulation of water sloshing between the tubs slows the spin. I've even accomplished this purposelessly without any suds by piling up wet towels in one corner and setting the machine to the spin/spray rinse cycle. |
