the hotpoint 9534, has had a complete good condition motor fitted, for the second time as the first one had the wrong connections, brand new brushes all cleaned up nicely, by a good friend mathew thomas, and it STILL ISNT WORKING!!!

Honestly, i am so p*ssed off as i just have no clue what to do with the damn thing, or wether to even scrap it which is what i really dont want to do.

During the wash its so powerful it literally distributes, and on distribution its very powerful too, but it just WONT SPIN, it will only speed up to fast distribution with a load in, and still.. without a load in it is just jittery but will spin.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME OR I WILL JUST GIVE UP!!

george.

nope, turns out some of the connections had come loose with me constantly maintaining it, so i took them off cleaned them and pushed them on really hard and now it works :)

Yes, well done indeed

well done on your achievement and your perseverence, I bet you had an ear to ear smile when it worked. And on top of that you've that bit more experience to take to the next machine.

Is the first wash planned for tomorrow?

Enjoy

Mathew
