Until 10 years ago my mum's best friend had a Servis washing machine called the Servis Laser. It was similar to the Servis Quartz and it had a light blue fascia. It lasted for many years. Does anybody remember it?

Hi there.

This is the best photo/image I have of the Servis 6015 Laser Quartz, which was a comet exclusive from the mi 80s'.

A very rare machine and this is the only image I have ever seen of one though there is the possibility that one exists in a museum somewhere in the north! Have yet to chase up this particular line of enquiry.

Anyways - was this your Laser?

If it is, can you tell us more about it. The fascia looks white, with possibly blue line detailing, but its all rather unclear.

Paul

It was indeed a Comet exclusive, our next door neighbourhood had one bought for her by her DIL as she looked after the grandsons, and it was the Light Grey Console and door trim on a White cabinet!!

She loved it, was her first automatic after using an English Electric wash & rinse wringer washer and an Acme tall cabinet, pump spin dryer!!
