Interesting finds Kenny!

That's a '65 Kenmore 800 dryer. Most likely the newer direct drive blower design. I have one of the first versions - which has the belt drive blower, but it has a full-width door. Still a '65 Kenmore 800 though...Sears and their variations!

The first two ads are interesting too - the washer is a 1981 Kenmore 70 - probably one of their better sellers in the 1981-1983 period. This would be a nice find if it is truly a low usage example. This is what my Mom bought in Dec. 1982, and I copied, or tried to copy, in July 1986 with my 70 series. The next version of this washer was Sears' best seller of the 1980s...they changed the five water levels to three, and added the auto temp control, which mated cycle wash times to water temp provided (a not-so-valuable feature if you ask me).

The odd dryer is a Toyota / contract sales model. These seem more and more plentiful in the last year, as they keep coming up in ads. Maybe we're just better at spotting them? Nice dryers but most were standard capacity, but sold matched to a large capacity washer. They work fine that way, my family did that for 9 years, but the luxury of a big dryer with these washers results in wonderfully wrinkle-free clothes most often.

The second dryer is the dryer I literally tried to buy in '86, but the salesman talked me out of because it has only one heat temperature. The next dryer up was ten bucks more and has a Knit/Delicate cycle where the Cotton cycle is -- I've never been sorry but always felt I would have been fine with this one. The next dryer after mine has SoftHeat - salesman really wanted me to buy that one (ten more bucks) but I said "one up from what I wanted is enough". I just like the odd stuff that not everyone else bought sometimes.

Gordon
