Here’s a glimpse of the new Maytag washer and dryer. Sleek design but stupid options.
1) Cycles such as Whites and Heavy Duty became eliminated, though there is still PowerWash. Can’t seem to find anything for wool or hand washing, either – just Delicates. 2) There is not Hot temperature setting! Just Cold, Warm and Extra Hot. I hope the Steam for Stains provides some kind of hot temperature. 3) Same with the spin speed: either no spin, medium or full throttle. The dryer offers only low or high temp – or cold air. For such sleek machines, I find the range of option rather frustrating. These seem to be the TOL units. Alex
