Hi Robert,

I didn't know you ever got your hands on the booklet. It's so cool. They actually tell you to purge the hot water line before loading, and have the minutes marked in countdown like the new computer machines. Eight and a half minutes of rinsing--WOW-- and 13 max for washing. Nice. And Spin dry at 5.

Even more cool is the 3 page overture on a giant 50's movie screen with huge stage drapery, like what we've been talking about in the Green Room, suggesting the Apex Epic Saga. Sweet Stuff.

So much rinsing, 3 of them, enough to satisfy the worst rinsaholics, It says no gears, etc. Is it like a Unimatic under the hood.

NEW MEMBERS: Here's one of Robert's flix about the Apex. This is one of the most dazzling moments of washer drama in our collective film library. Put your rinse caps on, Wash People. Laugh, laugh, laugh.

Another flick with the lid up

The last 20 seconds are so enlightening. How like a Whirlpool Calypso whose washplate is straight from the Apex tub. But how much quicker the turnover with so little water in the Apex. Show stuff like this to people who wonder why you're fascinated by washing machines.

Hi Mike,

The rinsing is one spray rinse followed by two deep over-splash rinses. Still the machine barely uses 25 gallons of water for the whole cycle, each fill is 7 gallons.

Just put another one up on top of you.

What's the mechanism like?

PS: Did you do one, a video, of the spray rinse?
