The exciting aspect of this bit of news is that the few people who actually purchased a Neptune TL have an instant collector's items on their hands. It's good that Gansky has one; we know he'll preserve it and when we're all here 20 years from now talking about that one-off, short-lived Maytag experiment, he'll have one in ace condition to trot out for show. I'd imagine they'll eventually be a most sought-after collectable. No other manufacturer seems to be jumping on the bandwagon to copy its mechanical design. The 'bouncing basket' machine of the future! |
