No advice on the door removal question? Can the door of a KDS-19 be removed without disconnecting and removing the dishwasher from under the counter? |

I'm pretty sure you can remove the door without pulling the whole machine out from under the counter, in fact I'd recommend it since the whole machine won't tip forward when you have the door open. It's much easier to get the door back on if you have a second person to help you line up the holes for the hinges.
Just to confirm -- the clips Steve mentioned are part of the bottom rack assembly. They clip to the rack at the front on both corners.
I've attached a picture. This is on a model slightly later than yours, but the clips would be the same. |
