As many of you know, I have been restoring a vintage Maytag wringer washer (1935 Model 30 --- see thread 42096 Gray Ghost). I needed to replace the wringer gear box and was able to find a spare wringer assembly for a model N10 from a dealer (believe it or not he had parts for 70+ year old machines!) So now, I have a spare wringer assembly, including the rolls, that I want to get rid of.
If anybody is interested, please note that this particular type for the Model N10 is deeper and is NOT suitable for a Model A or B, 80, 90, 30 or 32 (the hinged lid on these models wouldn't be able to open.) Also, the wringer rollers are smaller diameter on this model, but they're in fantastic shape, for the age. Please contact me through the site, or by e-mail if you'd like this part. I am not interested in the wringer but AM interested in finding out how you are doing on your restoration of your new girl. Hope you have nearly completed her and are ready for a go at washing. Best ! Jim |
