And well you should be, John. It it so very minty, and that awesome rare unique coloring--don't even know the name of that shade of blue. And John that is a very very late model before the fall of Easy. You can tell by the smart new deeper and wider indexing/rimming on the tub.

I am blue/green with envy and especially happy that you got it--you, the guy that brought my Visimatic up to code with a brand new cap for the once headless rotoswirl.

It gives great joy when someone discovers the power and the intense engineering charm of the classic Easy Spins.

If I can help you in any way, please ask. And just wait till you see this diamond girl rinse!Surprised

What, that looks minty. Congrats!

Is that a genuine Maytag fill hose draped over it, lol?

Congrats on the new addition to your vintage collection! That Easy looks in beautiful shape! I think they're a lot of fun to wash in - and do a good job too! I've still got one on my wish-list.

John, Congratulations!!! I know you've wanted one of these for a long time. They are such a fun machine. Do you have any paperwork to go with it? If not, I'll copy my paperwork for you.

Ron

Thanks guys,

It is in immaculate shape. Could not have been used much at all. I'll post the model and serial #....maybe we can tell when it was borm.

Dan..........I do beleive those are maytag hoses that I use for my second washer hookup!!!!!!

I do have an older Easy that I got from GregM a few years ago, but the linkage to the agitator is frozen, so I can't get it to agitate. I swapped out the agitator with the aluminum one from the older Easy. The fins extend out further and tend to spiral the clothes better. The plastic spiralator's vanes don't come up as high on the centerpost and tend to splash suds out at me more.

Thanks for the offer Ron, it didn't come with any owners manual.

Mike....thanks for the nice comments............I know you LOVE yours too!!!!!!!!

Someday we'll have a handle on precise Easy chronology.

John ~

There's another Easy on the board today from Vermont Mike with an unusual control panel. Although the machine has both faucets, jet-cone spinner, and drain control for the spinner, it has no timer. I haven't seen an otherwise TOL model without the timer.

More to the point, the machine had the newly styled tub like yours. If you look closely at mine, you'll see it has no extended rim nor deep indexing like yours and the one Mike threaded. Your tub is better lookin' ;-> Mine looks more primitive and unfinished.
