From any of you who have Lady Kenmore stickers in good and legible condition. Could you post a couple of sharp pictures of these stickers so I can fabricate them?

Ken -

There is a different story in regard to each of the two stickers you are looking at.

The "Sears*Best" sticker seems to be around in pretty good shape on a number of machines that people have. I remember these being fairly durable stickers. I will check my '74 and see how good it is. If nice enough, I'll snap you a photo.

The other sticker, on the top, is a "Features at a glance" or features checklist. The ones from the early to mid 1970s were thick paper or paper-like, and if the machine was wiped with a damp cloth often, they faded, smeared, or wore away. The one in the picture is in very good shape I'd say.

These stickers were specific, model for model. The 1974 Lady's sticker would differ from the 1972 Lady as the two machines are different in motor speeds, capacity, agitator, etc. The '74 Lady's stock number was 24901 (white) and this number is usually fairly prominent up on the top of the sticker somewhere.

A sticker worthy of being copied is going to be a hard find, but with your drawing skills I am sure you could recreate one if someone has a starting point. My machine doesn't one anymore. In later years, these were changed to a clear plastic adhesive film so they would last longer, but also be easier to remove when the time came.

That's all I'm looking for. I've done a couple of mock-ups of the "Sear's Best" sticker, and now that they have metallic computer printer label stock, I can come very close. This is just play for me, but any images you can post would be very helpful. I've done a couple of V-12 labels for my 1961 Filter-Flo's and, if I do say so myself, it's hard to tell the difference between the real and the fake.

I'm so tempted to do it with money.
