I would love

To meet him/ her/ it , no offence meant by the "it" but in my experience it's best to find neutral ground !

Nice appliances!

I find the shirt (blouse?) oddly disturbing. We won't discuss the shoes.

Would love to have her to tea though. Probably one of the more interesting persons one could meet.

I can only suggest you were searching for transistor radios and you stopped at "tranny" in the seach criteria box. Needless to say it is FULL of inaccuracies mostly on the dates, bit that the 1950s "Hotpoint Washing Machine" is actually a Parnall Tumble Drier, at least the 1950s is correct. I could go on but my life is ticking away and I have better things to do. By the looks of it the "Viscountess" has a couple of extras that most women do not have ......

The appliances are neat but I DIDN'T need to see the lacy unmentionables... That falls under the category of 'Things you can't unsee...' The Viscountess reminds me vaguely of one of the Monty Python actors..

Some nights of rest..the next day..it's how I feel and might look if I don't get more rest...
My Nana (from Newcastle-on-Tyne) would say ,

"oh, my!" and might add, "Close the shutters, Willie's dead".

Street legal ?

My-T-Fine

Presumably she hauls all those treasures home in a Vauxhall Viscount, though I'd think a two-tone Cresta PA would suit her better.

I love the quilted jacket; she's not so much dressed as she's upholstered.

One of the stoves Boudica is using-there is a link on the "film Tech" forum about a 1937 British cooking promo film that shows a range so similar to the one Boudica has.The film is kinda interesting-the woman promoting the stove is wearing a fur!
