That's good news! It is easy to understand your joy at having a dishwasher again. Given how I hate hand-washing dishes, I would be miserable without my dishwasher.

I never thought to fix a leaking dishwasher by giving it a time out...

The perpetually leaking dishwasher

You know, now that someone else has started this thread, I will mention that my dishwasher, a Maytag DWU9600 (a great performer) has had an intermittent leak. It has caused the kitchen floor tiles in front of it to buckle and come loose and the sub-flooring has warped to the extent that I'll have to excise it and patch it. It seems to leak most if I interrupt a cycle to add a dish so I've avoided that for several weeks now and it has stopped. I guess I need to take the door off and examine all of the gaskets and seals, but the last thing I need right now is ANOTHER GODDAMN PROJECT!!!!

F'anybody here has had similar issues with similar machines, please pipe up!
