I've used a Vestel made Beko

There is no such thing as a Vestel made Beko and never has been...

As I'm sure you are aware many of us think very highly of Beko as a good value budget brand and would pick them over their more expensive rivals.

If the quality of these machines is at all similar to Beko they will be a welcome addition to the market, and a hell of a lot better than some of the abominations that have carried the Servis name in the past...

yes there has, and yes there is. the bekos that have the square door handles and the awful looking front are made by vestel. these arent made by the same people who make normal beko and are alot worse in quality. i know ordinary beko qulity isnt bad, but not particularly good, but vestel made beko is just as bad as the previous range.

Vestel made Beko

Where did you get the information about BOL Beko being Vestel made?

If it's correct then it's news to me!

well, i know it sounds silly, but i got it from jack (marthalover4ever) i know alot of the stuff he says sometimes isnt strictly... correct, but he does know his beko's and servis's and i highly doubt its wrong.
and tbh, i am sure that at some point he actually showed me a blank vestel machine, almost identical.

Beko and Vestel are both Turkish and, I would've thought, rivals. There is most certainly no such thing as a Vestel made Beko.

As with anything, I'm reserving judgement on these Servis machines until I've had the chance to use one.

vestel never made a beko appliance, they are all made by arcelik in turkey. it is well known on here that i dont think to highly of beko as ive been out to fix the same beko appliance 4 times in the last year. i will say however they do look better than the current vestel made machines under all sorts of different names. that annoys me nothing is original anymore not even the BOL Zanussi's. there all made eeither in china by god knows who or by vestel under 20 different names. sad the way the appliance industry has gone. i for one welcome the news of UK manufacturing of
washers as reported in another thread.

Anyhow...

The Servis machines don't have high-quality looks neither...
