Washer model is LXA5540W1. This model has the manual brush lint filter right? I know I've seen ones like it that do, but wanted to know. Nice set. Too bad I am not in the market. Have a good one, James | ||

I doubt it. West Hartford is inland, not on the coast. The worst these beauties may have been is in the dark and perhaps cold. | ||

Obstructionists Some people can't wrap their little minds around the idea of people like us who collect appliances. When dealing with these folks I try to communicate to them the idea, "as long as you get money for these items what do you care where they go?" as politely as humanly possible. Still I've dealt with **holes who refused to sell to me because they interpret the Craigslist manifest as excluding all but local buyers. The world would be a much easier place without people. | ||

Who wants to work a deal out with me on these??? I am trying to buy them.... Really I would want the washer and not the dryer.... I can pay for both if someone up there in Conneticut wants the dryer? | ||

well, lets see.......
if Brian can get them to Jersey......and then have a shipping company like UCrate.com schedule a pickup, they would only have to sit outside for a day, covered up, because UCrate would pick up right from Brian's house.... you could always call UCrate and get a price quote, as well as a expected time for a pallet drop-off.....actually the pallet could be at Brian's waiting, once he gets home, load them on the pallets, and have them picked up the next morning....maybe a little pricey, who knows, but it is a possibility.... I might be in Brian's area in the next few weeks....and can even bring them down to SouthJersey....but then were still stuck on getting them closer to you, without the aid of a shipping company.... BTW: Brian, don't you have a machine identical to this that you wanted to get rid of?......you could send it along, that way 1966 would have a machine, and a spare for parts...just a thought.... | ||
