A while ago we had a thread about Miele twintubs (see link). In that thread I mentioned a Constructa twin tub with integrated dryer. A month later there is a video on Youtube of such a machine. As I explained in the other thread, the laundry is washed and rinsed automatically in the big drum. Then the laundry is transferred to the small spin dryer. And after that it goes back to the bigger drum for the drying process.

Here's the video with a few shots from the inside. You can clearly see the ventilation tube at around 15 seconds into the video.

What a great find and neat video, thanks Louis for spotting it and to the owner Progresssauger for showing the vid...

Its a neat machine, I wonder how much steam escaped from the top and other places, but after spun the clothes for many minutes and a hot air heater I wonder how long it took to dry a 3kgish load?

I looked at his other washers and vacs, very interesting , the Constructa K6 looks an interesting machine!!

That is indeed a great find. I am in contact with him, hope to visit him sometime. He has an awesome collections and has certainly a nose for finding rare machines.

He told me that there were more twintubs with a built in dryer, but those used just radiation heat where Constructa used air circulation.

The Constructa K6 is one of my favourites!!
