I seem to recall a while back that someone had posted a picture of an Amana front load set in stainless steel. I cannot remember whether or not they were ever released for manufacture. But something jogged my memory and I was wondering how the picture compared to the actual Speed Queen Imperial versions. Anyone have a copy of that pic that they can post?

I don't remember who owned Amana at the time. I had the idea that the washers were SQ FLs, but it was so long ago I had forgotten about it until this post. |

Cannot be sure but think SQ had also just relauched their domestic front loaders at that time as well.
What interested me was the Amana washer had an internal heater (going from memory) whilst the SQ unit did not. No, they weren't on the market long and if any sold they were either recalled/taken back or are sitting someplace, have never seen one on eBay, CL or any of the other places used appliances turn up. |
